National Hidden Heroes Foundation, Artists Move to Support Conference

March 19, 2006 by MilBlogger

via VFW MO WebCOM:

In support of the 2006 Milblog Conference, the National Hidden Heroes Foundation has committed a creative contribution.  The foundation recently recorded "The Hidden Heroes" performed by Barbara Fairchild.  Some of you may remember "Teddy Bear" circa 1973 performed by Fairchild, a popular performer in Branson, Missouri and ardent supporter of veterans. The online release will feature flash video productions by Todd Clegg (GCS Distributing).  Many of you may be familiar with his work, as Clegg has created several tribute pieces featuring our service members.

"The Hidden Heroes" song will be available soon for download on this site for a minimum contribution of $1.00 as token of gratitude for contributors.  The first dollar covers the cost of doing business (streaming, licensing etc.)  Contributions over $1 go to the Milblog Conference 2006.   Anything raised over $5,000 goes to the foundation, and from there, directly to those "left behind." You can make your contribution today, and when the download is available for release, you will be notified by email. If you have digital photos to contribute for this, and other flash videos, email them to veteransfoundation@gmail.com,  Subject: flash.  Preview "The Hidden Heroes"  by selecting pic.
