On Friday evening, April 21, we're planning an informal meet-up at Pitchers Lounge, which is located inside of the Marriott Key Bridge Hotel. For those of you who can make it, come on over. We'll be there from 7:00 - ????
There will also be an announcement soon regarding a gathering that will take place on Saturday evening, post-conference.

I'm truly sorry but I hope to attend the troop support rally held every Friday night in front of Walter Reed Army Medical Center. A very faithful contingent of local folks have stood against Code Pink every Friday night for the past year, regardless of weather, and have successfully dethroned the CP from the original spot they had in front of the main gates. (Capt Z, CJ, and "Taco Bell" have all particpated in these "DC Freeps", while "tgslTakoma" and "Gunnnutt" have been some of the most steadfast (and vocal) attendees. Wanna consider moving the get-together across town to this really swinging spot???

My heartfelt thanks to all who want to come to Walter Reed! Your presence will be most welcome, but I don't want anyone to miss the fun at the Marriott. You can do both - the FReep at WR is usually from 6:30 - 9:30ish so there's plenty of time.
I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone!!!

Exactly, Gunn Nutt. We wanted people to be able to do both, I'm sure the party at the Hotel will be going late into the night so after the FReep, everyone can head to the Marriott. I've found that everyone has a different set of goals so we just established a base of operations at the Marriott for whomever is interested, as sort of a meet up place.

I plan on getting no sleep this weekend. I want to do it all! I'm flying in Thursday afternoon and I'll be moseyin' around D.C. to sight-see all day Friday. I plan to visit WR that evening, and then join up with everyone at the Marriot. Who needs sleep when there's so much to do and so many people to see?!

Not sure if this is a right place... We have growing electronic newsletter mailing list, and I'm desperate to find decent, reasonably priced software or shareware for list management and distribution. We've been using Outlook and ACT and they're not working well. I was found at http://www.glocksoft.com/em/ bulk email software for sending newsletter. Are there other good options to help save my sanity? Does anyone know of any good hosting company that can handle bulk email? We need to send newsletters to about 900 customers without the hassle of restrictions. Thanks!
